Subject:LM3102EVAL via placement
Message:
Hi: I'm working in a LM3102 regulator and taked as a starting point the LM3102EVAL (AN-1646) for regulator block PCB layout. My board doesn't differs too much of that EVAL board layout, but I observed the eval layout has two ground planes (top GND plane involving the input and output caps in a loop) and an integral bottom GND plane, apparently conected in the input and output GND connectors.

My problem here is that I need to route a trace from the EN pin, and, in doing so, I'd be cutting the bottom plane. I've seen the EVALboard layout and it doesnt have included via holes/placement in order to connect the bottom plane with the top plane. Do you have it?

For this case, what kind of strategy do you suggest to route the EN pin?
Attached is a JPG file of my layout

Thanks in advance.
