| I am desiging a PSU around the LM338. It would ideally have two positive, 2 negative rails, and a dual secondary transformer (one secondary for positive rails, one for negative). I am pretty sure I can connect the 2 positive-regulating LM338 to the same rectifier and ground, but I am unsure if I can do the same with the two used as negative regs. I'd like to go trafo->rectifiers->input of both (negative) LM338s. Could I tie their outputs together to ground? Should it be kept separate from the positive regulator ground? thanks!
