Hi, i'm trying to design a converter with the follow specifications: Vin=12[V] Vout=-40[V] Iout=250[mA]. After a lot of search i found in this site a recommended device the LM2592HV and the application note AN-1157 but this describe the design for continous mode operation instead a discontinuos mode operation is needed because the inestability problems in the buck-boost topology.

That`s all, thanks for your patience and sorry if my english is a little rusty...
