Hello,

I am trying to design a SEPIC with LM3478 that runs from 9V input to 32V input and delivers 24V 5A.

My problem is that even with a small load of less than one amp, the mosfet gets really hot and eventually the Rsense fries.

I am a beginner in this field, so I have basically taken the datasheet schematic. but the compensation and the resistor into the sense input, I have had problems determining.

I have my schematic attached. Any and all helt will be gladly appreciated.

Thanking you all in advance.
Best regards
Henrik
