Job Description:
National Semiconductor is looking for a dynamic and energetic software developer with computer science or electronics background to design and develop software applications.
Must have:
1. Strong hold on data structures and algorithms
2. Hands on experience with Object Oriented Programming
3. Practiced software development processes
4. Good knowledge of software engineering processes and practices
5. Working knowledge of any version control system
6. Good knowledge of Python
Highly desirable skills (one or more):
7. Developing Flash-based web applications (both frontend and server end)
8. Knowledge of implementing mathematical optimization techniques (Particle Swarm, Tabu search, Simulated annealing, etc) is a plus
9. Knowledge of remote procedure calls or object brokering is a plus
10. Knowledge of C/C++, XML, SWIG is a plus.
11. Developing user interfaces is a plus
12. Knowledge of Multi-threading is a plus.
Qualification and Experience:
Ideal candidate should have experience in developing significant software projects preferably cross platform standalone and web applications.
The candidate should have B.Tech with five years of experience or M.Tech in CS/EE three years of experience. |
