Position Title: On-Site Distribution Manager - Montreal, Canada

Job Description:
This position reports to a Corporate Account Manager and will be based in Montreal, Canada. The qualified candidate will have a clear understanding of the strategies and tactics of distribution engagement plans with a strong ability to identify opportunities, manage and follow-up on those opportunities. In this role you will proactively contribute to the distributor business by taking ownership and following up on key business opportunities to maximize quote-to-bid conversion. You will develop, maintain and manage tactical/operational corporate distribution management relationships and focus on key customers/programs to manage supply chain resource optimization.

Other key responsibilities include:
•Identifying and communicating key distribution market/business trends
•Understanding and executing on tactics to support performance goals
•Driving adoption and use of National web design tools within the distribution technical community
•Providing input and guidance in the creation of effective marcom distribution tools
•Driving an effective closed-loop lead management program
•Optimizing asset management operational engagement through review of opportunities/inventory needs on new products
•Driving collaboration with field sales team in the attainment of goals and objectives
•Developing and implementing effective initiatives to expand the distributor customer base
•Driving effective customer engagement tactics for most significant channel accounts

Requirements
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a BS degree in Business or Commerce with 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Excellent knowledge of the electronics industry with particular emphasis on developing and driving performance to stated goals along with in-depth knowledge of the distribution business models is key. The successful candidate will have a complete understanding of how to drive/manage the Global Business Transfer process within distribution and have strong operations/tactical channel experience. Strong verbal, written, presentation and communications skills are required.

This position requires a high level of understanding of day-to-day operational workings within distribution. Qualified candidates will have the ability to:

•Identify and apply appropriate internal and external resources to develop and drive business/operational engagement to achieve stated goals
