Job Overview:

Maintains accountability for yield improvement actions for VIP10 and VIP50 technologies. Works closely with other integrators to coordinate the implementation of yield improvement elements within the overall yield step up plan and designs yield experiments and executes on silicon fabrication. Owns process flow interacting with process and equipment engineering for continuous process improvement. Improves process capabilities and eliminates defects for select processes. Processes improvements through the implementation of process control and monitoring techniques (SPC, CPK). Uses statistical methods in the analysis of data utilizing previously obtained experience with Mbayse (or similar analysis tools such as JUMP). Drives sort survival, ET yield and Fab yield in conjunction with the product engineering, quality engineering, and process engineering groups. Monitors and improves yield of products manufactured using high speed amplifier complementary bipolar processing, precision amplifier complementary bipolar, complementary metal oxide semiconductor, thin film resistor, laser trim enabled processing and power management complementary bipolar, complementary metal oxide semiconductor, variable voltage compatible processing. This includes but is not limited to evaluation of parametric test results, evaluation of in-line unit process results and evaluation of in line defect inspection results. Applies appropriate methods of physical and electrical analysis to the products and associated diagnostic test structures. Applies wafer level reliability methods such as gate oxide integrity, hot carrier lifetime, and electromigration to insure product reliability. Applies statistical process control methods to parametric electrical test results and in-line unit process results. Makes process changes to increase yield. Utilizes extensive understanding of design rules and the effects of various process steps on device performance. Assists in developing test methodology standards and data analysis using statistical software tools. Improves work, products, functions, and processes through on-going analysis. Communicates and shares new information, learnings, and methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals.
