Job Overview
The Distribution Customer Support Representative position will serve as a key interface between National's distributors and direct accounts in each assigned region with the primary objective of maximizing National's share of the business in this customer base. They will collaborate with National's Regional Field Sales Team in the implementation of the company's goals and objectives.
In addition, this position will:
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships at various levels with National’s assigned distributors.
• Identify and build strong relationships with distribution branch sales teams to ensure that we have their share of mind.
• Field and resolve inbound phone and internet support inquires from National’s customer base.
• Actively engage with the Regional Distribution Manager to achieve resale goals.
• Proactively contribute to the distributor business by taking ownership and following up on key business opportunities.
• Manage the business with the distributors by providing gap analysis, which ensures support for new opportunities to increase penetration at key customers.
• Collaborate with Regional Field Sales team in the management of the distributor design registration program.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must posses a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a related field. Experience in the semiconductor industry or electronics distribution is preferred. The candidate should also have strong computer and analytical skills. Experience in Microsoft Office is preferred. Other required competencies would include: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to function in a team environment and strong negotiation skills.
