Role Description
National Semiconductor's Financial Analyst role supports the success of the business by recommending actions based on financial data analysis. Typical responsibilities include monitoring business unit performance, forecasting spending, creating journal entries for period-end financial close, analyzing the tie-in between the P&L and balance sheet, preparing budgetary variance explanations and undertaking various ad hoc data analysis. There is the opportunity to work within the Finance team in all areas of the company: Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales, and Corporate. National offers dynamic rotational opportunities for recent college graduates.
Recommended Background
Strong academic performers with good communication skills and significant coursework in finance and accounting. Relevant work experience is a plus.
