Job Description:
As our Product Engineer you will…
•Drives projects to improve yield and optimize parametric performance for both existing and new products for mixed signal CMOS or high voltage LDMOS technologies.

•Works with Engineers from the Fab, Development, Product Line, Test, Design, Applications, Quality, Packaging, Sort, and Final Test groups to diagnose and define actions to improve yield and performance of money spec datasheet parameters for high value products.

•Designs, writes, and analyzes results of process DOE’s / Corner Point lots. Publishes evaluation results and takes actions to drive yield / performance improvement.

•Follows NPPRS and associated systems (buildsheets/TMS biz case, etc) for New Product Introduction. Insures new products meet entitlement yield and datasheet requirements.

•Writes PPRP documents for product transfers and analyzes results to insure that products transferred within Fabs meet defined criteria (ET, Sort, Final Test, Tri-Temp, WLR, Reliability).

•Follows all quality specifications and procedures to insure the highest level of product performance in the customer applications.
Requirements:

•New Product Introduction: Expert level skills on NPPRS process and necessary systems, requirements (rel/etc), and documentation (buildsheets/TMS biz case/etc) used for new products

•Design / Layout: Can perform basic layout functions in Cadence and pull GDS-2 files to inspect for design rule violations or critical area ratio.

•WLR / Reliability: Understands the purpose for, and can interpret results for reliability tests.

•Wafer Sort: Understands tester operation and results and has ability to identify meaningful correlations from sort to ET. Works with Test Engineers to diagnose / improve test Cpk issues.

•Data Analysis: Ability to pull Fab, ET, or Sort data into M-Bayse for statistical analysis. Can design and analyze DOE's in JMP.

•Failure Analysis: Understands FA techniques and their accuracy, capability, & limitations

* ET / Device Knowledge: Has an expert level understanding of device physics for NMOS, PMOS, DMOS, NPN, PNP, Capacitors, Resistors, Diodes, etc. Understands the purpose for each electrical test, how the structure is laid out, and which tests are critcal for product performance (QFD).

•Process Knowledge: Understands basic process flow details technologies and is familiar with equipment used in the fab.

•Communication Skills: Has ability to drive company wide projects to achieve key business objectives and communicate to both technical and management audiences.

•Bachelor’s in Science / Electronics or Electrical Engineering / Material Science with 10 or more years industry experience.
