Job Overview: You will be a part of a dynamic Security/Admin team. You will have the opportunity to enhance your administrative and security skills through on-the-job and formal training;handling such diverse tasks as providing support to directors, including the site Managing Director; coordinating a formal recognition program; assisting the Regional Security Manager in maintaining a world-class, government-recognized security program. You will be expected to look for innovative ways to improve work procedures and processes, and also communicate and share new information in order to strengthen team members' abilities to meet department and site goals.
Qualifications: Intermediate level MS Access, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word; Lotus Notes or similar e-mail. Needs to be well organized, detail oriented, assertive yet tactful and discreet. Must have the demonstrated ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive employee and business information. Must have the demonstrated ability to interact with customers and employees in a professional and pleasant manner. Must have reliable transportation. Must meet eligibility requirements for access to company office on secure customer site, as needed. Must have ability to communicate and work well in an effective team environment. Must possess strong verbal and written skills, using proper grammar and spelling. Must have ability to be flexible and share other duties as assigned. Must have ability to accurately follow directions. May provide investigative and adminstrative assistance to the security group as needed. May be required to sit for long periods of time, and do light lifting up to 15 lbs. Requires working in an office environment. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment security screening.
Job Summary: Applies skills and knowledge to complete difficult tasks. Solves moderately complex problems where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Performs routine tasks that are assigned without any instructions, and handles new assignments with general instructions. Routinely communicates verbally and in writing with peers and supervisor to solve difficult problems. Analyzes security issues, determines level of urgency and complexity, and alerts security or management personnel as necessary.
Education/Experience: 4 to 6 years with a high school diploma or equivalent; 2 to 4 years with an AA/AS or Junior College degree; 2 years with a Bachelor's degree.
JPAS and eQIP experience a plus.
Clearance Requirements: Must be willing to work in a secure environment. Must meet eligibility requirements for access to customer's sensitive information, including a single-scope background investigation and full-scope, lifestyle polygraph. Government security clearance a plus.
Standard Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., subject to change as needed, to meet temporary business needs.
